In oder to be enrolled in one of Politecnico di Milano Masters or post-graduate programmes, the student must have a University degree or an equivalent title, that has to be validated by the University Office. Candidates holding a 3-4 year Bachelor, a Master of Science or an equivalent title can apply to a 1st Level Specialising Master and post graduate programmes. Candidates holding a Master of Science or an equivalent title can also apply to a 2nd Level Specialising Master .
Entry requirements for candidates applying to Continuing Education courses may vary; each student should refer to the managing institution for more information.
Candidates with Italian University degree
- Each student who graduated in Italy before 2010, has to upload a self-certification of the degree under the online section Degree Certificate Find the module to fill in HERE.
- Each student who graduated after 2010, has to upload the ANIS certification under the online section Degree Certificate.

Candidates with foreign university degree
Students with a foreign degree have to submit their documents whose authenthicity will be checked by Politecnico offices.
Step-1 (pre-check)
In order to apply, each student has to submit online the following documents in the section Degree Certificate:
- Original University Degree + translation into Italian
- Original University transcripts + translation into Italian
Step 2 (authenticity check)
- Students with an Extra-EU University degree
Each student with an Extra-EU University degree, must have, before the start of the programme, one of the following documents: - Students with a EU University degree
Each student with a European University degree must submit the Diploma Supplement digitally signed or with a valid QR code. In case the Diploma Supplement digitally signed or with a valid QR code cannot be provided, the student must submit one of the documents requested to students with a Non-EU Degree Certificate.
Each student having one of the required document (CIMEA, Declaration of Value, Enic/ Naric certificate or WES Certificate, Diploma Supplement digitally signed or with a valid QR code ), can upload it in the section Degree Certificate already at the STEP 1.
