A transversal competence
“For us Artificial Intelligence is anything but a newcomer. Because for 50 years at the Politecnico di Milano we have known its merits and defects, opportunities and risks. We have known her since 1973, the year of birth of AIRLab, the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Laboratory. For 50 years we studied and taught artificial intelligence. We have developed it in our laboratories, we have tested it in joint projects with companies" (Donatella Sciuto, Rector of Politecnico di Milano).
For this reason, Artificial Intelligence has always been present, in a transversal way, in our activities: as a research theme within our laboratories, and as an educational topic within our courses.
